I know that it's illegal to use third-party programs on multiplayer Diablo (original, DII, & all blizzard games), but there is no terms of use you have to agree to before playing single player... so what about using a program for only single player? (I know that third party programs are allowed on Open Battle.net for DII, and the characters used for that are generally the single player characters already created.)
What I was wondering is this: Does anyone have or know where I can get the original BoBaFeTT's Diablo Trainer. I don't know if they even still have servers for Diablo original on b.net (www.battle.net doesnt even list forums for it), but I only plan on playing single player with the base version (Not updated to any of the patches). So, if anyone knows whether this type of use is allowable, please get back to me, so I can proceed accordingly.

Lol, sweet. Now I can play Diablo singleplayer without it being hella boring and/or taking 4 days straight to get into hell. After I show Diablo who the real boss is, maybe i will try to connect to bnet on it, and shelve my new BoBaFeTT's (I think it's small enough to fit on a floppy). Ah crap, now my DII is having trouble... anyways, thanks, goranpaa for the link, and Superfly3176 for the information.
(Side question: Is godly plate of the whale the armor with the most defense?)

I believe so. It's also one of the most hacked.

Yeah, that makes sense.. when i used to play, everyone wanted godly <item> of the whale. On my singleplayer, I had a set of 'Diablo' items - armor/weapon/shield - all +255 to all attributes (the armor took up 1 space & looked like an ear). When you quit tho, the next time u went on, it all reverted to godly plate of the whale, godly etc. Pretty good for quick levelling and kills playing by yourself with no internet.
Actually, when I first played multi on Diablo, my 2nd game a high level char said "here" & gave me godly plate and shield, both legit items. I used those for a long time. Helped me kill Diablo without dying as much.
