Is this a good deal?

PNY Verto™ GeForce2-MX400 64MB AGP
$99.99 with a $30 Mail-In Rebate

My current system is a Pentium 4 1.3 ghz with 256 ram and a TNT2/64 Pro 32 mb video card.
How much more performance will this GeForce2 offer me over my TNT2?

( I really want a GeForce3, but dont have $300 for it, and plus Ill be building a new Athlon after christmas)

Not bad. I would recommend a better known video brand name than PNY. There is a reason they are giving a $30 rebate. It could be because they won't directly support it later. Dunno.

I've heard not so good things from some people about PNY, I've never dealt with them though.
Always read the fine print.

That GeForce 2 model sucks, in my opinion. I would go with a GeForce 2 GTS/Pro for around $115.

I found a Pine Tech Excalibur GeForce2 MX400 for $79.99. Is that a good card?

GeForce 2 MX 400:

Memory Interface: 64/128-bit SDR, 64-bit DDR
Texels per Second: 800 Million
Memory Bandwidth: 2.7GB/s

GeForce 2 GTS:

Memory Interface: 2.7GB/s
Texels per Second: 2.7GB/s
Memory Bandwidth: 5.3GB/s
Triangles per second: 5.3GB/s

There's about a $50 price difference between the two. I have the GeForce 2 GTS and I have to say the card is excellent.

Don't forget GeForce 2 Ultra
