Help with installing a game

I keep trying to install command and Conquer generals on my comp. But every time i get to about 20% i get some error saying that, error cannot read or extract the file called AudioEnglish.big . If anyone knows what is wrong it would help.

It means your pc can't read the disc correctly. Try putting it in another drive (like a burner) if you have one. Cleaning the cd might also work.

that used to happen to me so i got a new sound card and some ram it worked after that
