This one is for all you computer science junkies.

This article is a very interesting read. It discusses, at length, the advantages of ternary numbering (base 3) over binary numbering (base 2) - as well as applications of such a system in a computing environment. More layman applications are also discussed. To better understand the article, it helps to have a decent mathematics vocabulary and a grasp of numbering systems. It is an excellent read and possibly explains what will be the future of computing. If it doesn't, it is very educational in the sense that is provides a deeper grasp of just how a computer stores data, processes data, and performs operations.

Check it out.
