Troubles starting Halo PC

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Every time I double click the icon to start it up, it starts up, and goes to the opening title screen. Then, it flickers, and just closes. It doesn't minimize or anything. This is all after I installed a video card for my computer... it's working, for other games, but now halo freaks out. The first time I tried to run it was the only time it gave me an error message; it said I needed to run DXDIAG. I have, and all tests work. I've also tried reinstalling Halo. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, my video card is a nVidia geforce FX5200 PCI, and my processor is an AMD Athalon XP 3000+. I have 448MB RAM, and 2100mHZ. This was roughly what the error message said that first time:

"a problem occured initializing Direct3d. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG"

Then, under computer specs, it only gave me this:

"2100mHZ, 448"
