wont boot

gateway select pc with amd 700 .. replaced hdd and had it working . now it boots to the gateway screen and says to choose F1 for set up or tab to view settings. hit f1 and cant get into bios. win98se machine any ideas

its most likely dead if you cant access the bios from the bios splash screen. but reset the cmos and try again.
