ThunkConnect 32 error when running windows 95 game

I installed a windows 95 game called Swiv on my windows xp computer and when i try to run it I get an error that says
"The procedure entry point ThunkConnect 32 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32.dll"
does anyone know how to remedy this I have tried running it in windows 95 compatibility mode but achieved no results.
