fan doesnt spin

hey
the fan in my case will spin every now and then. the only time ive seen it start to spin on its own is at startup but sumtimes it doesnt turn on. my case is off so i have to manually give a tap and it turns on and runs like it should, what do u think is wrong with it?

it either needs oil or replacing.

ive cleaned the fan, and tried to add WD 40 and it looks worse than it did b4 cause it barely gets enough speed to spin.

Fans even good ones are really cheap, replace it.

for future reference, you need a lubricant designed for electric motors, not wd 40.
