New AGP Video Card, Can't see desktop

I just bought a new ATI Stealth s60 Radeon 7000 AGP video card and installed it according to their instructions. The problem is I can't see Windows. I can see the BIOS boot up and I can see the Windows Loading logo, but when it comes to the Welcome Screen I just see this little black bar 50 or so pixels long at the top left hand corner of the screen. I CAN boot Windows (XP Pro, btw) into Safe mode and I can see everything fine there. And when i can't see anything on the new video card, I can plug the monitor back into the integrated card (without touching anything) and it works just fine, so I know the computer is working fine I just can' see anything.

Any suggestions?

PS. Yes, I've downloaded the latest drivers from ATI.

This may be too obvious, but do you disable the on board video before trying to boot with the AGP card?

No, do I do that in bios? I didn't know you had to do that...

Yeah, you go into the bios. Depends on what bios you have as to where it is located. Wander around in there and you should find it. You have to disable the on board video when you install an Agp card other wise they can conflict.
