Forum/Site Upgrade Tonight...

Well, I figured it was time to stop procrastinating...
Attention OTS Members and Visitors
Open Tech Support will be undergoing a massive upgrade starting tonight. I am currently backing up the forum database as I write this, so all forum posts up to this point may or may not appear after the site has been upgraded.
Some details: We will be upgrading the forum script to vBulletin v.2.2.0 (our current version is v.2.0.1). This upgrade will introduce several new features (nothing major), and will also improve the performance. I will also be upgrading our portal script to vBPortal v.3.06 (our current version is v.2.01), which will include several major features, as well as improve news, file and article handling.
During the massive upgrade, the forums will be closed temporarily, although I am considering putting a backup forum so that some members won't undergo withdrawal syndromes  You may also experience some weird things with the website as I undergo some debugging and cleaning up. All member information stored in the forums up to this point will be intact in the upgraded version.
The whole upgrade process will take between one day to three days, depending on the number of possible bugs I find within the site. It's gonna be a little messy, but hopefully we can get the site back in full working operation before next week.
We apologize for the upcoming downtime, but I assure you this is quite necessary so that we can improve the site further. Thank you for your cooperation.
