Yay...networking with a router.

Sheesh...never knew a router was so easy to configure. Makes my initial trepidation (postponing setting it up for a week) hilarious in hindsight. Lynksys makes a nice product. Hooked up my laptop and my main computer today...will hook up a third computer tomorrow...but first have to drill holes and run a Cat 5 cable to it.

Something that I found distasteful though was my purchase of a 30 foot cat 5 cable for the third computer. The local puter shop sells the cable for 20 cents a foot, 50 cents for each RJ 45 end, and get this.....15 dollars for labor. Hmmm...not bad for 4 minutes of the guys time. I found out that the RJ 45 crimper sells for 40 bucks...was almost tempted to buy it and say bye bye to labor charges, but It would be a useless purchase since I won't need anymore cables made.

Congrats on the router Been using my own Linksys router for more than a year now (using three computers on it), and I'm very happy with it
