limewire

im a user of limewire, i have downloaded progams from limewire which appear as zip files but when i try to unzip them with the unzip wizard they appear as m3u, can i have any sugestions on what to do about this, eg, i download a pc game which appears as zip file in limewire an the m3u appears when i try to unzip

OK I am going to ignore the part about the game. We do not support warez of any kind here at OTS. As for your question, a .m3u extension is a playlist that can be used by such players as WinAmp. That is all I can tell you. Maybe you can try to load up winamp and load the playlist and see what happens?

If it's a huge file size (the m3u that is) that would be expected of these files you are downloading, then try changing the extension. Personally I recommend you go out and buy what yer tryin' to get. Or at the very least borrow it from a friend.

i wouldnt recommend downloading ANY kind of program off of file sharing programs. just for security reasons alone.
