Help! I am taking a Statistics class and am trying to calculate sample standard deviation & population standard deviation. According to my professor, I am to go to STAT + EDIT and type in a bunch of numbers, which I have successfully done. Then I have to go back to STAT + CALC + 1VAR . The thing is, every time i do hit 1VAR and enter, I keep getting "ERROR 12 DIM MISMATCH." I don't know what it means, the guidebook doesn't tell me anything, and my teacher uses a different calc version.

I've heard that the error keeps popping up because some lists are not all the same dimension. I have no clue what that means. I am retarded when it comes to these graphing calcs. I only got a graphing calc cuz it's required for my stats class.

If anyone knows or think they know how to work this problem out, please reply! Thanks!!
