Windows will not start up

Hi, up until the other day i have had no problems with my laptop computer, i was browsing the internet one afternoon and my AntiVirus program detected that i had a virus "Downloader.Trojan" but it could not remove it, so i started to manually remove it by following the instructions on the website that it gave me. After disabling system restore and then rebooting in safe mode the computer restarted fine. However ever since this i have not been able to go any further than the dos writing that comes up at the start. It gives me the options to:
Restart in safe mode
Restart in safe mode with networking
Restart in safe mode with command prompt
Restart windows with recent configuration settings that worked
Restart windows normally

Whichever option i choose it will not go further on to the windows welcome screen, before it gets to this it restarts and i am presented with the same problem again! This is a continuous cycle which i can only exit if i turn it off! So i am unable to access windows and therefore am a bit stuck. I have tried all sorts of things, like pressing F8 when its loading, which then gives me more options, those of above again, and more:
Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Directory services restore mode (windows domain controllers only)
Debugging mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure

Again, whichever option i choose it starts to work, but when gets to the same point as the rest, it restarts and again, it just gives me options to choose from, not letting me on to windows still. I did however choose "disable automatic restart on system failure" and it came up to a blue screen with the below information:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove and newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable componants, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select safe mode.

Technical information:

***STOP: 0x0000000A (0xF7B75354 , 0x000000FF , 0x00000001 , 0x804E2E41)

Now, i have tried obviously restarting in safe mode, but as i mentioned previously, as soon as i choose this option the computer restarts. I am stuck as to what to do, please could someone help me, it would be much appreciated!

Many thanks

have you tried going into the bios and disabling stuff yet? Unless you can identify exactly what driver is causing the problem so that you can replace/delete it then its going to be a case of repairing windows using the system cd that should have come with the laptop.

Also what did you load/change/run whilst you were in safe mode the very first time when you booted successfully?? even if it seems trivial.

Well i couldnt get in to safe mode to change anything, it was when i rebooted to go into safe mode is when it wouldnt let me back in. I have tried disabling things yes, although it doesnt give me very many options. I tried to find a cd for it but it didnt come with one so im stuck.

I dont know what to do
Please help

youll need to do a repair install, or full install, which will require the OS cd or recovery cds.
