SBC DSL and Connections

I have SBC Global DSL, When I am in yahoo games and I answer the phone I lose connection to the game server...SBC Doesn't know what the problem is. If I do not answer the phone and it goes into voice mail it is fine and suggestions? XP with 5100b router asnd linksys--- help please

do you have a splitter or filters on the line?
