HELP....! my ati x850 xt

Here it goes, i bought a x850 xt AGP 8x and connected it into my pc but when i try to play any game they dont start and when i remove the card the games start with the onboard video.I have checked in the settings and it says plug and play monitor on _______ . Can anyone help me.I spent a fortune on the x850 xt.I connected it a million time and i installed the latest drivers but nothing happens.PLEASE HELP ME>.

Hi!
Have you disabled your onboard video chip, After installing the Radeon card?
This you either do in BIOS, by pressing the "Delete" button at first boot screen. And then you scroll your way. using the "Arrow keys" to "Intergrated perferials". And there disable the onboard card. Don't forget to save the setting before leaving BIOS.
Or you may have to do it in Windows "Device manager".
Another thing you could try is updating your BIOS.
