different playstation opening sequence

before when i play my ps2 a big playstation logo in the middle of the my tv would comeout then loading begins, now what im getting is a smaller playstation logo somwhere at the bottom part of the screen and a small SCEA tm also appears and no loading happens. what could be wrong?
