In order to connect your video game system to your computer, you are going to need a TV capture card installed. I recommend the ATI TV Wonder($50) , from there you are going to need to convert the Coaxial connector (screw on style, $30) to a RCA (red, yellow, white). You can find converters from Radio shack or Frys'. But generally for the same price you can use a VCR which will have the same connections, right on it.
Sometimes, if you really want to go pro and be state of the art, you might want to get your self Windows Media Center 2005 and a ATI-All-IN Wonder 2006 editiion. But, that is an entire other question....
