Windows xp is not connecting to the domain

HI
I have machine in the office having win-xp when i try to connect to the domain its gives error like domain controller could not be contacted, i turn off the Internal firewall but still i am facing the same problem, and i enabled Netbios over tcp/ip, still its not working,
Please any body help me to fix this bug.
