I recently have been receiving a message about ' Dr. Watsons Postmortem Debugger ' it tells me to send an error report, and when I do anything that was open on my computer freezes. The only time that this message appears, is if I try to open the control panel, or try to remove a program. I still have access to AOL and certain programs. Is this a virus? If so how come my Norton hasnt detected it, and if it isn't a virus, why is it freezing my computer? Someone please help. Thank you.

Hi!

No antivirus, is 100%. not even Norton. If you suspect virus attacs. Then also let some online AV scans.
search your PC.

I could also be your registry is messed up. So try a register repair software.

If nothing of this helps?
Then as a last resort. Try a repair installation of your Windows. This will only affect Windows and the previous Windows updates.
Just make sure to uninstall your video card driver if it is'nt "WHQL certified". Or if you are unsure if it is?

Here is a link with instructions how to perform a repair of Windows:

dr watson is a windows component that, as your message implies, fires up if there is a problem with your computer. i would suggest you look at the error report it generates to try to at least identify the problem.
