I keep getting this message from explorer.exe that it has to be shut down it is immediatly followed by dr watsons. then im froze. i have avg and ad aware but the dont pick up anything. I can only get around in safe mode. I downloaded hjt and here are the results.

i am lost please help. i did a system restore and it worked for a few days but now its back

I get a bad feeling from mksc.exe. Disable that one. AVG is a third rate viri scan, at best. Try Avast and a then a McAfee, once you have run all three you can be more comfortable saying yuo are viri free.
And just running Ad-aware doesn't get rid of most spyware. Make sure you also run Spybot, Spu Sweeper and counter spy. Once you have run these three too you should be looking pretty spyware free.
but of course before you run ANY of these, you need to clean the computers temp out. To make thins easier download clean crap, this little took will clean a lot more than you think it will.
All these programs have demos so you should be alright.
After all this is said and done, then we can talk about getting IE running again.
Oh! Did I mention you should do it from safe mode?

you have a couple of odd bits of spyware, but nothing exciting. you should probably check the watson error report, rather than flail about blindly. a repair install might be in order.
