game console roms are they legal

are game console roms legal like all the gba roms and n64 an all that because i keep seeing delete in 24h after downloading and i just wondered

They are illegal. I believe they are illegal even if you own the game. I believe that 24hr rule was changed some time ago.

Here is Nintendo's stance on ROMs. From the text, it seems to me that they are illegal period.

The big N would say that, too. And Microsoft says that they value all customers, they just won't provide any service to those with products that are more than 3 years old. I think that NES roms are "sort of" legal (and possibly SNES) since Nintendo doesn't sell, produce, service, or care about the old carts (or the people who bought them). As long as you don't distribute them, I don't think Nintendo gives a rat's derriere about it.
