Need help..
I have one 512 333Mhz CL 2.5 chip.
And I can get a 512 400Mhz CL 3 chip.

Can these work together????

Usually it's best practice to keep your RAM sticks as twins - no differences between them. A difference may cause some performance problems (like trying to drive a car with two different sized front wheels on it) or it could be the source of system errors on the PC. I'm leaning toward the performance issues myself. And it's still possible that you'll never notice anything.

I say that if you can get another stick of 512 that matches the one you already have, get it. Otherwise, keep in mind that you may see some less than desirable effects with the different speeds.

you will need to adjust both the speed and timings in the bios to match the slower of the two to have any hope of them working together. youll need to run at 333mhz CL 3, and even that might not work well.

so if this DO work, i might get less usage of it?
I'll try it out, and post back
