Changing VRAM on a IGP (Laptop), help!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi all!

Right, when i usually have problem, google solves it! But i can't seem to find anything on there on this (Im sure its there, just 30000 pages takes a while to go through)

Basically I just got a new laptop, a Sony VAIO PCG-K415B. It has a RADEON IGP 345M (64.0 Mb): 1280 x 800 - True Color (32 bit). I know that it runs off the RAM i have in the laptop, and it may sound stupid but I wish to change the amount it uses from 64mb to 128mb (which I think is the max for this card). I think you have to do something in the BIOS to do this, but as I have never touched the BIOS on any PC or laptop, I could do with some instructions, I don't want to mess up a laptop I only just got!

Heres some details of the laptop, if anyone could help, it would be great.

BIOS: PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0 (20-Jan-2005)
Memory: 448 Mb (457 712 Kb) SODIMM1: 256 Mb SODIMM2: 256
Video Card: RADEON IGP 345M (64.0 Mb): 1280 x 800 - True Color (32 bit)
Motherboard: Q-Project Sony Corporation (N/A)
CPU: Celeron 3060MHz (L1 cache: 8.00 Kb, L2 cache: 256.0 Kb) Ext.clock: 133 MHz

Thanks for your time!
