256Mb RAM

Motherboard - VIA P4X400-8235
Radeon 7000 AGP graphics card

Hi!

Could be the old Radeon 7000 card or overheating.
The 7000 card does not have the proper Direct X 9.0 support,, and is lacking support for the pixelshaders and other stuff, needed for playing modern games.

And don't belive any s.c. "Minimum system requirements". they are set to a ridiciously low level. Just so the game manufacturer can sell more games.

Get a Radeon 9600XT. 128 mb or Geforce 5700. 128 mb. at least. Those cards is about 90 USD at newegg, webshop.

Try running the PC with the case door open and see if this helps? If it does, you need a couple of extra case fans in proper size 80, 90 or 120mm. Measure the cases fan mounts.

But if I should guess, what is the real problem? I would put my vote on the videocard.
