HP Capshare 920 e-copier

I need help. I recently purchased an HP Capshare 920 e-copier which included Pagis Pro 2.0 software. I am having trouble running this software in my Windows 98 environment. I get error messeges indicating I have preformed illegal operations and the program will close. There is no tech support available through pagis. It does appear from review of the pagis website that this problem has been encountered before but it appears all the downloads are for Pagis 3.0 so I cannot fix the problem. Any suggestions.
