starcraft / SW galactic battlegrounds

when trying to play either of these games at home with my brother, we cant c eachothers games when we create them. we hav diff IP addresses even though we hav the same modem, and warcraft III plays just fine (i added the IP address of the other comp to my trusted zone on my firewall), but i cant seem to get a connection on these games. just doesnt seem to detect anything >.< help?
