Can anyone help...my wife and I believe that our son is using the home computer to access pornographic websites. However, he is using the "Tools", "Internet Options", "Delete Files" and "Clear History" actions after each use. This stops us from seeing what he has been looking at.
I've heard there is another way, despite these attempts to stop it, to see the viewing activity of the user. Can someone please advise me as to what I can do???

If you want to stop your son get McAfee Privacy Service. It has an event log that can only be erased by the Administrator. You can get McAfee for free if you have comcast hi-speed internet. MPS (McAfee Privacy Service) comes with the McAfee SecurityCenter suite.
Once you have MPS, you should set yourself as the Administrator with a password and set a profile for your son. In the users tab, set blocked websites if necessary and set an age level for your son. To view the log click on the event log tab and click on the gray user bar to sort by user. Single click on all the items with the user labled as [your son's user name here] and the event information labeled as web site request. On the bottom under the event information, look at what it says for web site.
If your son asks why you got the program and you don't want to tell him what you suspect, tell him you got it for the cookie manager/blocker and the file shredder.
Good luck!

There are many program that can track down internet activity,
and on the other hand block unwanted content.
You can look for it in any download site and see what's best
for you.

Download this program onto your computer and click the internet tab on the right to view the last 30 or so web sites visited.

Also try this: go to...
Windows 98/ME users: c:\WINDOWS\Profiles\[your sons user name here]\Cookies\
Windows 2k/XP users: c:\Documents and Settings\[your sons user name here]\Cookies\
Look at the file names. They should be in this format: [your sons user name here]@[website adress]. See if any of the websites are suspicous.
