Again, my computer simply had too much problems and that I had to reinstall. But, my windows CD was badly scratched, and I had a Linux Ubuntu CD. Anyways, I couldn't open anything on it. It says "Path not found "Media/ (Then the path of the file I'm trying to open)". And since this is the first time I'm using linux, I don't know what to do with this.

Also, is there a run path like "Dxdiag" for linux? Im trying to find a driver for my graphic card but I forgot the model of it.

Next, the window goes out of the moniter. The tool bars at the top and bottom covers the windows...

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, but dxdiag is specific to Windows (it's specific to DirectX).

If you are in gnome, get to a run box (Alt+F2) and type "system-config-display" to get to the display settings window. You should be able to just adjust the settings in there to the correct options and that should fix the resolution problem as well.

Hope that helps you out.
