I recently bought BF2 for my computer along with a new graphics card. I was told by that the graphics card I bought (an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 256mb) was compatible with BF2 however I am having problems with the in game graphics in BF2 and all other games that previously worked on my old graphics card. I have downloaded the latest drivers for the graphics card and have installed Direct X 9c but am still having problems. If anyone needs to see a screen shoot of the problem email me because i have a screen shot of it. Can anyone help me?
Thank You for your help

Your videocard should'nt have no problems, running BF2.
At least aslong you don't crank up the quality settings to high.
It's not always certain, that the latest drivers is the best ones.
I had to search long before I found drivers, that my 6600GT did accept.
Go here and register, for free. No obligations.

When your registaration is finished. Go to "Download" And then Xtreme drivers and "Forceware 32 bit".
Try following drivers:
-G 78.03-HDv2
XG.win2kxp77.76-HD
XG.win2kxp77.13-HD.exe
This is modifided drivers that have been tweaked and improved.
And they have got enhanced support for your card.
Also download " Driver cleaner Pro", and use this drivercleaner to clean out any leftovers from previous driver installations, Use this after you have uninstalled your old driver. This because, it's never a god idea to install avideocard driver on top of another.

Did you check your Powersupply, before you bought the 6600?
You must have at a powersupply, of minimum 400W to be able to run that card .
If you dont know?
Open the PC case and take a look at the label on the powersupply.
If you have to buy a new PSU?
Then this is a good and decently priced one. And it have enough power for any future upgrades.

Well, first things first. His card is'nt exactly a dinosaur (Geforce 6600). And updating your videocard driver is a thing you should do pretty frequently. Even with older cards, as both ATI And Nvidia (Geforce) have generic drivers, suitable for all their cards....even the older ones.
