I can't host

i just have one computer with dsl through usb port and am not on any network and have put in the port 6112 to be an execption and the programs warcraft 3 frozen throne and the reign of chaos one and still when i host a custom game no one can join. can anyone plz tell me what i am doing wrong? i really want to be able to host a game. i have a window xp os, 512 mb ram, 140 gb rom, 3.06 ghz processor and 128 mb video card. is there something i am not doing? plz help me if you can and i thank you in advance.
