hmm... i was in BNEt Ots getting into a arguement with wenchie as usual and someone um... i cant remember who mentioned a mascot contest at OTS and i was like wtf is ots and was told "go to www.opentechsupport.com so i was like "um ya ok" and the story goes on....

Combination... word of mouth from people I met at OTS forum on b.net... I think Scav or AoD told me to download Topaz Chat from here, and I wound up sticking around.

I never really went to OTS on b.net. I was just on with my friends and we stayed in our own chat. I occasionally go in to ask for help and realize there were to many bots in there.

Course back then I was ignorant and stupid at the tender age of 11/12.

OTS on bnet for me I was actually there for a legit question first, but then I found out I knew more than most of the people there! (except the regs of course ) So I stayed and eventually someone said I should come here

Pure luck.
I've never been on Battlenet and was searching arounf for tech support forums. Found OTS and the rest is history.
I keep meaning to buy DS... but dunno if I'd like it. I normally only play sports games... still thinking about it though....
btw - OTS rocks... I love it here

I just recently found out about OTS from Blizzard's Battle.net website. I needed help with computer freezes and The-Group.org didn't help much, so I tried this site and have gotten a lot of help.

Found the site by searching for "tech support". I needed help with a bunk vid card ( my very first post ), and I started lurking on and off. I flipped out when I saw the other Missouri-ble people out there. Then I did a touble flip when I found out there were other people who threw thier $$$'s into MU's gaping maw, and knew my hometown! Been hooked ever since.

I posted help starting June of 1997 in OTS battlenet.
After few months TheHelper pointed me to the Blizzard tech support forum, and I found it easier to post there
In August of 1999 Blizzard made me their second MVP on their web sites
Posted mostly on Blizzards OTS web forum from maybe August of 1997 until it closed in July of 2001.
Started posting on the Helpers forum in 2001 after Blizzard closed its OTS forum, and finally after lurking on this forum for several months I registered on this forum and started posting here.

I got the link to this forums from Project404 where I first started posting in December. I then started posting here in February of this year. I also post now at Visualcues.com because Project404 is down right now.

I remeber in bnet OTS The_Druidess was talking about her pic she had posted here. I was curious about it and wondered what she looked like. I had seen several people in OTS talking about this site already, like Canis Lupis, REVENGE and Red Wench. I just couldn't stand not knowing what it was about. Then Dru said if I wanted to see her pic I have to go to the sute. If I recall correctly, there was someone else who signed up with me that same day. All to just see Dru's pic (who is quite beautiful, may I add). Anyway I ended up just staying.

Hey I use Copernic too, it's a wicked earch, you find much more than using any other engine. I never tried to search up OTS though, which is something I usually do to see if I can find a site I like or something. Guess I haven't been bored of late

altavista search engine.......i was building a computer at the time and found the black athlon thread. i found the guide very helpful. it's been a few weeks since i completed the computer.....and i'm still hangin out!....this is a great site!!!!!!!

I think I found this site after trying to figure out what was wrong with random SC crashes. It was a link from TG from another site and another site...etc.
This is an awesome tech site.
