when i bought my computer it came with AOL installed.

I now have virgin broadband and when i'm on the internet and press any links from my e-mails, my computer trys opening the links through AOL and not internet explorer but because i dont subscribe to AOL then i always get error messages and i cant open up any links

can anyone show me how to remove this

Have you tried uninstalling AOL in start>control panel>add or remove hardware

Change your default browser to ie by going to start>control panel>add or remove hardware and clicking on the set and access program defaults button and selecting custom configuration. There you can select your default browser.
