Installation problems

Hey, I have some problems with installing using InstallShield application. Each time the installation is almost finshed it shows "Publishing product information" and then it shows me "the wizard was interrupted" error message. I've heard there is a conflict between InstallShield and windows service pack 2 (which I have installed). Is there a cure?

I dont think that there is a conflict between "Innstall shield" and SP2 nowadays. At least I have'nt experienced any. The only thing I can think of as a cure. Is to get a no cd or replace the game.
And I would advice against uninstalling SP2. As then, you may end up with a lot more trouble than you had before.

Well thanks for the tip, but I had no choice. I've unistalled SP2 and now everything works fine.

I would reinstall SP2 and see if the problem comes back. It has many security updates and you are putting your computer at risk.

As you advised, I've reinstalled SP2 and the problem came back. It seems there is something wrong with service pack 2 and InstallShield on my pc.

OK guys, I've found a solution that fixed my issue. The problem was that the Installer had no "Impersonate a client after authentication" rights. To fix this:
1) go to control panel
2) open Administrative Tools
3) open Local Security Policy
4) expand Local Policies
5) click on User Rights Assignment
6) in the right panel double click on Impersonate a client after authentication
7) click add user or group
8) in the text box enter "Administrators;SERVICE"
9) reboot and it should work now
Hope that helps someone.
