i am wanting to download my aol mail to a disc and do not know how to go about doing this, can someone please help me??

Do you mean save the mail from the aol program on your computer to a disk? (thats not really downloading...sorry for being picky) I'm not too farmillar with aol programs, but I know that on outlook express you have a bunch of files saved in the application data folder of your profile/documents and settings folder that contain data about all your mail. These files can be easily recognized as they are usually very large if you don't constantly delete the mail. Try looking for export to disk or store folder or something like that.

Do you want to put you emails onto a cd, or am i missunderstanding? If so, then you could always just copy the email into a text document and then copy it to a disk, but it would be easier to put it on a floppy disc

You could also just open the mail and do save as, but I'm not sure if you want to copy all your e-mails. If you have a lot that could take a long time. If you do coppy it to a disk, a floppy disk would be good because ASCII (such as html and text) files are very small and compress easily. But most new computers do not have floppy drives because floppys are so old.
