last night i was listening to music and trying to alter songs, when i lost 1 side of my headphones. attempted to check everything possible, and everything is working properly. but still no sound out of the right side. I am using a HP Pavillion ZV5000 laptop with the 4 speaker system. The unit is purchased through GET IT NOW stores and is under their warranties through the contract of service. Is there anything i can do on this end to remedy this problem? I also wanted to ask if this is a ongiong problem, due to my going to be using this unit for a disc jockey service. The installed program in question is soundmax digital installed and i can find no remedy for this problem, Could someone please assist?

You might have shifted the balance to the left somehow. I'd check the windows volume controls, and see if everything is still centered. Also check any buttons on your speaker system, it could have a balance button too. Finally, make sure everything is plugged in right. If audio cables are plugged in loosely, you could lose a channel too.
