Do you see the first bootscreen, and then it does'nt boot into Windows?
Can you hear the fans start spinning and the CD / DVD ROM light(s) flash at bootup?
Any speaker beeps?

pulled off the side panel no fan, speaker pop or anything.. except the green lights
flashing one on the front and one on the back(that originates from the power supply box).

Then, probably you will have to replace the powersupply.

goranpaa, Thanks for the advice. I've got an old gateway powersupply at the office but it is only a 220 watt and the system is 225 is that a problem. How close to the same does it have to be?

If you know it works it should be OK, you can always unplug a couple of devices (CD-ROM, etc.) to lower the stress on it but I suspect it will be fine.

Chainlinks advice is sound.
But just use that powersupply as a test.

A too weak powersupply will case instability problems. And can in the long run harm the hardware.
If it shows, that it whas the PSU? Then get a powerful one like the one I showed you.
Then you will have enough power even for future upgrades.
