Probably. Your question is, unfortunately, a wee bit vague, but I'll see what I can do.
On your mac, open up System Preferences and go to the Network panel (Apple menu -> System Preferences... -> Network) and look at the summary for "Built-in Ethernet". It's probably yellow and says your computer has a self-assigned IP address. If that's the case, follow the instructions for setting up your 2wire router and make sure you have DHCP turned on. DHCP is a service on the router which assigns addresses to your computers automatically. If you've done that, back on your mac, double-click the summary for "Built-In Ethernet" and you should see the configuration screen. Make sure the drop-down next to "Configure IPv4" says "Using DHCP". If you have to change anything, be sure to hit the "Apply Now" button, then wait a couple of seconds and see if you can connect. If all of these steps are correct or you've corrected them, applied the changes, and are still having problems, go here and find your city or region on the list. Then, on your mac in the preference panel, under "DNS Servers", enter the primary and secondary DNS server addresses from the page you were just looking at. Enter each one on a new line. Then hit "Apply Now", wait a couple of seconds, and then try to open up a web site again.
If you're still having problems after this, post here again.
