My CPU fan was torn of by my sister... I simply laid the CPU fan back on (bracket broke off), and the fan will run literaly for 2 seconds before the computer powers down. I piece of the plastic that is used to secure the CPU fan to the CPU/Motherboard broke off, but I doubt that has anything to do with the problem. Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem?

I think that the problem is that you're computer is overheating because the fan and heatsink aren't properly. You are going to need to replace the heatsink on the CPU and then rethermal grease it back on.
