I'm from Houston, so the Astros have always been my hometown team. It's good to finally see them in the World Series, but I hope they don't blow it

So.. i'm not quite sure what I have to say about this. I hate the White Sox, or maybe just their fans, not quite sure. Good for the team, but I don't feel like dealing with all their fair weather ****up fans.
I'm sure I will run into some resistance here on the boards from locals, but whatever. I used to be a fan of the Sox until their fans learned I was also a big supporter of the Cubs, and they started a nonstop barrage of annoyance. Now I'm soley a Cubs fan. Hard to describe unless you've lived in Chicago.

I don't think it's ever going to be their series to blow.
Not many gave them a chance and it looks as though they were right (at least so far)

Or it could be that the Astros pitching staff is giving it away, and the Sox are taking it. Before we call it luck, take a look at the Astros closers who seem to like serving up the long ball.

I'm 3 hours south of chicago and tons of people were freaking out on the street... I can only imagine what the south side is like.
