Unable to reach affiliate links - McAfee problem?
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

On my PC I use IE6, Opera & Firefox and, in none of them, can I reach affiliate links, that is when a site links to something I may want to purchase.
I also have affiliate links on my own Website at http://www.songland.com/ - if you go there, please click on one of the 3 main ways of entering the site (you can't miss 'em!) and you should see a vertical banner which links to iPowerWeb (excellent Web hosting company, by the way), which is further down in the light blue left-hand links sidebar.
I can't see that banner, in any of my browsers! Yet I can see it on my laptop. Both computers are running the XP Firewall, so it's not that, and it can't be IE6 because I've configured the security identically on both machines.
I seem to have something enabled or disabled somewhere. It could well be in McAfee Antivirus, which I run on the PC only. But, as is usual with antivirus software - always has been! - the interface is ghastly to use, and I can't even find how to configure the darn thing.
Any McAfee experts here? (If it IS that...).
Thanks in advance,
HumanBean11.

Do you have any other McAfee software? Like the firewall or privacy service?

Hi, Matt,
No - I just have McAfee Antivirus. I have downloaded Outpost Firewall PRO - when I've installed that, I'll disable the Windows one and see if that helps, but any ideas you or others may have would be more than appreciated.
Bean.

Privacy service has caused problems in the past with blocking advertisements....
This ad is an animated gif; do you see the red x and the frame of where the ad is supposed to be, or is that not even there? Showing a picture using the PrintScreen function would be helpfull.
We have ruled out Windows Firewall and the browsers, so there is probably some other program bloking it. Some programs like privacy service are stupidly set to block ads by default.
