Diablo: LOD CD KEY/ Connecting issues

Ok, im getting seriously annoyed with Blizzard. Almost a year back, I had me computer reformated, due to a virus and a crash. After this i reinstalled my diablo II and LOD. I then tried to enter Battle.net, When i did it told me my CD key was not appropriate for battle.net use, so i uninstalled then reienstalled, Then it said "CD Key has been Disabled." SO i used a friends CD key, AND his Diablo LOD Disc, It still said that...A week later or so, when i try to enter Battle.net, it now says "Unable to Connect"
WHAT IS GOING ON? i dont even have an account on B-net, and some how my CD key was disabled...Blizzard tech suppot is TOTALLY USELESS. i need serious help. its been 3-4 month and it still says "UNABLE TO CONNECT" or "CD KEY AS BEEN DISABLED" Why does this happen? please help....Thx
