new guy needs help

ok im new to this and i need help badly. i brought a copy of black and white 2 and it dosent seem to work. i mean not work as in 'it get half way and then stop i mean i put the disk in the computer and nothing comes up.I go in to my computer click on cd-rom drive drive and theres nothing there. i tryed tec support but it game me some crap about my phone service cant get it ir something i need help badly becaust im not a big computer wiz (if this even gets posted ill be surprised) and there no one i know that can help me

Have you had any other reading problems with CD:s / DVD:s in that drive?
Try downloading a registry repair software.
Check the game CD / DVD for scratches.
Test the CD in another PC.
