Email "To" field not populating using MSN Explorer/Hotmail

I am trying to troubleshoot a problem one of our customers is having. He is running MSN Explorer browser which has embedded Hotmail. Our site has an e-mail link that auto-populates the "To" and "Subject" fields when a user clicks the "Contact Us" button.
It works fine with IE and Outlook, AOL, and other programs. Hotmail Tech Support won't respond to my inquiries.
