Download Hijack This! and post your resulting log.

Also scan for spyware. If you don't have any spyware scanners, download Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware.

there u go

The only thing I can see on there that looks like it should be fixed is:

02 - BHO: (no name) - {5c8b2a36-3db1-42a4-a3cb-d426709bbfeb} - (no file)

Have you scanned with Spybot or Ad-Aware? And since I see that you have Windows XP have you downloaded Microsoft Anti-Spyware?

Make sure to scan with more than just one program, I know I've had other things get picked up. Also, I assume you've done an up-to-date virus scan, right?

Posted by: yuri64

Yes I have it updates by it self when need !

Posted by: FadedMaster

Well, you should always do a manual update before scanning. Because auto-update only does it at intervals and there might be a new update available since it last auto-updated. Anyways, from what I've seen online about this Winfixer thing, a suspcious DLL should have shown up under your Hijack This! log, however there isn't one. So unless someone else here can help ya, you shouldn't be seeing these popups.

Edit: Also, what anti-spyware programs did you use? And were you sure to update them first?

yuri64 ,

Wow, I saw this thread a few days ago and passed by. I guess I ought put my two cents in. Winfixer is a bitch, that and Surf Side Kick are almost always together. In order to correctly remove it you are going to need to go into the recovery console and delete it folder in the programs files section. Should be something like C:\Program files\WinFixer and C:\Program Files\Surf Side Kick. Now the file that is reinfecting you is actually attached to Explorer, hence why are you not able to get rid of it. You will need to remove a file in your c:\windows\system32 folder called repair*.dll where the * is going to be a random set of numbers.

you also didn't tell us your system specs. I am going to assume for brevity that you are using windows XP with SP2. It's important that you use Sp2, because while still in safe mode you are going to need to disable all of your Internet Explorer add ons that you are not SURE are secure. you do this by right clicking on your IE icon and selecting properies. From there select programs and in the bottom you will see the Internet Explorer add ons button. Turn everything off, you are not SURE if safe. Get rid of all that java stuff you are gonna see. You don't need it, and if you do, you can turn it all on again.

This link looked promising too. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic18610.html

Oh yeah, and counterspy run in safe mode seems to get it 90% of the time on the first pass.

Anyhow, I hope that helps you. Oh, and unless you are willing to deal with this, I recommend switching to Firefox, it's thus far free of such glitches that we find in Internet Explorer.
