Well I cannot tell you exactly, but I'd check your registry. I hate when companies put out demo products that leave registry remnants. It only hurts themselves in the long run.

I had a problem like this when EA released Battlefield2. I played the Demo then uninstalled it, and it left behind registry remnants that hindered me when I installed the full version.

What you could try is uninstall the full version that isnt functioning (if you were able to install it). Then reinstall the demo version. Next, uninstall it again. Now clean out your registry with a 3rd party app, (I'm sorry for not pointing you to one specifically) once you've cleaned your registry, install the full version.

Hope this helps.

PS: the reason for the reinstall of the Demo version is to make sure that the demo registry files are once again put on your computer incase the full version doesnt use all the entries. You could try uninstalling the full version that doesnt work, then clean out your registry, and once again reinstall the full version. *Shrugs* I dunno, try both.

Also, delete anything in the program files folder that is from that program. Sometimes after the trial is up the program leaves files in the program files folder.

Err just make sure they aren't actually any savefiles that the program though you might need, and that you actually need.
