when i go to instal windows it stay at 39 minutes for ever and nothing happens cd rom is running

Why don't you be more specific? Which version of Windows are you trying to install? Is this an upgrade or a fresh install? Have you tried waiting, and if so how long?

Is the hard disk new or just reformated? Or are you trying to install on a partition of a hard disk?
