Mozilla firefox browser problem

I have encountered a new problem lately. I have two browsers: Moz. Firefox an Intern. expl. The first one is my main browser and lately it happens that when I click the browser icon nothing happens. To get it I have to reboot the computer. Is this another microsoft sabotage in favour of their browser because the IE one always works. Can you boys and girls give me any (simple for an old geezer) advice how to get rid of this nuisance. Paul

reinstall firefox (new version came out a few days ago i think, maybe you have some update procedure stuck). for best results uninstall, reboot, install.
