Hi all, I know, dumb question, but how the heck do I take a snapshot or save an image of my desktop to email to someone?

Regards

Hit the Print Screen key (mine says Prt Scr) and it's usually at the top of the keyboard to the right. Then go into a program like Paint and hit ctrl-V or edit-> paste. Then save that file and email it.

Make sure you save the image into a compressed file format (i.e. JPEG or GIF), because people don't like to receive bitmap files (Paint saves to bmp by default) in their mailboxes.
