Hi,

I have found three virus infected files on a computer I am fixing for friend. I cannot delete these infected files even in safemode. They are write protected or in use. Any other idea how I can delete these files? If last resort I will swap hard drive out and make slave on my computer, so that I can go in my operating system and delete these files from his drive. Seems like there should be a easier way? I included below which viruses and infected files i am having problems with. Thanks for your help in advance.

Bck/Agent.AXG virus c:\windows\system32\bnmsrv.exe

Bck/Galapoper.HP virus c:\windows\system32\ll.exe

Trj/Cimuz.V virus c:\windows\system32\winacpi.dll

I seem to remember once having a program that allowed you to select windows critical processes (ex. explore.exe) and not have them start on reboot, so that files in use could be deleted. Anyone know of a program like this?

This isn't what you asked for but Have you tried Dr web cure-it Download it to desktop.
Also have you tried Ewido?
Ewido is a resource hog so make sure that you do not activate the background guard.

They are both free.

Also try the on line virus scanners. They use to find and delete / cure most viruses.
